Gain the tools and knowledge to:

  • Identify strategies to leverage existing community strengths in developing rural harm reduction programs
  • Describe practical approaches to implement and sustain harm reduction services in rural communities
  • Apply harm reduction principles within psychiatric nursing practice
  • Develop connections with resources to support harm reduction work


Learning Outcome:
 

Upon completion of this program, the participant will: 

  • Identify two strategies to consider when implementing sustainable treatment programs in rural communities.
