Nurses and advanced practice providers will discuss current legislative issues, strategies to help person experiencing domestic violence, implementing telehealth as a treatment strategies and cultural competency awareness.
Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this presentation, the participant will be able to:
- Discuss advances in psychiatric mental health nursing that will assist in caring for persons with a diagnosis of a mental health condition.
- Implement network strategies with other psychiatric nurses across the region.

Step 2: Attend the Live Virtual Conference: Psychiatric Care: A Year in Review
- Arrive on time for the Live Conference via the link found on the Contents tab in order to be admitted.
- Attend the entire Live Conference. No partial credit can be awarded.
Step 3: After the Conference:
- Complete the required online Evaluation and Honor Statement.
- Your nursing continuing professional development certificate will be generated online and available for immediate printing after the completion of the online components.
- All steps MUST be completed prior to Friday, March 26, 2021.
Nursing Continuing Professional Development:
4.0 contact hours. * In order to receive contact hours, you must: attend to the entire live virtual conference, complete all required online components-evaluation and honor statement. Once you have completed the evaluation and honor statement, your nursing continuing professional development certificate will be generated online and available for immediate printing. Credit cannot be earned unless all components of the program are completed. No partial credit can be awarded.
The American Psychiatric Nurses Association is accredited with distinction as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
You must complete the evaluation no later than Friday, March 26, 2021 in order to earn your nursing continuing professional development contact hours and certificate.
