Psilocybin Treatment Update: APNA New Mexico Chapter Conference 2026

Description: Half-day virtual conference on the Medical Psilocybin Act in New Mexico and updates on the use of psilocybin to treat psychiatric conditions. Download the conference flyer to learn more!
Target Audience: Psychiatric nurses, nurse practitioners, physicians, psychologists, social workers, mental health counselors, and others working with patients who are interested in understanding more about medical psilocybin.

Attending the Live Virtual Conference:
- At the conference start time go to the link found on the Contents tab to join the virtual event.
- To earn contact hours, be sure to attend the entire conference, as no partial credit can be awarded.
To Earn Your Contact Hours:
- Enter the Verification Code provided at the end of the conference in the appropriate section of the Contents tab.
- Complete the required online Evaluation and Honor Statement.
- Your nursing continuing professional development certificate will be generated online and available for immediate printing after the completion of the online components.
- These steps must be completed by Monday, September 14, 2026 to earn your contact hours.

To earn your nursing continuing professional development contact hours and certificate, you must attend the entire live virtual conference and complete all required online components by Monday, September 14, 2026. No partial credit can be awarded.
Cancellation Policy: Notification of cancellation must be made in writing to chaptersupport@apna.org by August 27, 2026 for a refund minus a $10 fee.

Off-label uses will be discussed in this presentation, specifically the use of psilocybin, a Schedule I drug. The New Mexico Medical Psilocybin Act of 2025 allows for the implementation of a medical psilocybin program by the New Mexico Department of Health.
