APNA New England Chapter Conference 2022 (Virtual): Creating a Welcoming & Supportive Space for Diverse Populations

Learning Outcomes include: 

1. Understand of the impact that microaggressions and implicit bias has on the care environment.
   
2. Discuss effective mental healthcare for LGBTIA+ individuals and be able to discuss and demonstrate the core concepts of affirming care.

Registration: You will register for the conference one time, under one account, using one email address. This account will be used to access the conference and complete the post-training evaluation. You will be prompted to login or create a free APNA account. If you already have an APNA account and do not remember the username and password, contact APNA at 855-863-APNA (2762). Do not create a new account. New users will establish a username and password at time of registration.

Step 1: Prior to the Live Chapter Conference:

• Register for APNA New England Chapter Conference. There is no on-site registration for this webinar.

Step 2: Attend the Live Virtual Chapter Conference:

• Arrive on time for the Live Conference via the link found on the Contents tab in order to be admitted.
• Attend the entire Live Conference. Partial credit will not be awarded.

Step 3: After the Conference:

• Enter the Verification Code provided at the end of the conference.
• Complete the required online Evaluation and Honor Statement. 
• The Certificate will be generated online and available to print immediately after completing the online components.
• All steps MUST be completed prior to May 13,2022. 

Nursing Continuing Professional Development: ANCC Nursing Continuing Professional Development (NCPD) contact hours are pending for this activity. * In order to receive nursing continuing professional development contact hours, you must: attend the entire live virtual conference and complete the evaluation and honor statement, your nursing continuing professional development certificate will be generated online and available for immediate printing. Credit cannot earned unless all components are completed. No partial credit can be awarded. 

You must complete the evaluation no later than May 13, 2022 in order to earn your nursing continuing professional development contact hours and certificate.
