Nurses and advanced practice providers will gain increased knowledge about Peri- and post-natal mental health, alternative treatments for mental illness, and medical considerations for those with mental illness.

Registration: You will register for the conference one time, under one account, using one email address. This account will be used to access the Virtual Conference and complete the post-training evaluation. You will be prompted to login or create a free APNA account. If you already have an APNA account and do not remember the username and password, contact APNA at 855-863-APNA (2762). Do not create a new account. New users will establish a username and password at time of registration.


Step 1: Prior to the Live Virtual Conference:

  • Register with APNA for the Nebraska Chapter 2020 Annual (Virtual) Conference. There is no on-site registration for this conference.

Step 2: Attend the Live Virtual Conference: Innovations in Nursing Practice 

  • Arrive on time for the Live Virtual Conference via the link found on the Contents tab in order to be admitted.
  • Attend the entire Live Virtual Conference (9 hours). Partial credit will not be awarded.

Step 3: After the Conference:

  • Complete the online Evaluation and Honor Statement. 
  • The Certificate will be generated online and available to print immediately after completing the online components.
  • All steps MUST be completed prior to Friday, August, 28, 2020.


Nursing Continuing Professional Development:
6.0 contact hours.  * In order to receive nursing continuing professional development contact hours, you must: attend the entire live virtual conference and complete all required online components. Once you have completed the evaluation, the certificate will be generated online, available for you to print immediately. You cannot earn credit unless all steps are completed. Partial credit will not be awarded. 

The American Psychiatric Nurses Association is accredited with distinction as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.


You must complete the evaluation no later than Friday, August 28, 2020 in order to earn your nursing continuing professional development contact hours and certificate.
