4102-21: Postpartum Depression: A Multi-Disciplinary Approach to Screening, Management and the Role of Breastfeeding Support

Postpartum depression (PPD) is a common condition which can have significant consequences for both mother and infant. Long-term exclusive breastfeeding is associated with decreased rates of PPD. A multi-disciplinary approach to managing PPD, including strong breastfeeding support, will lead to improved mental health outcomes for women and their children.
