4036-23: Improving the Patient Experiences of African Caribbean Men Detained Under the Mental Health Act: Working Towards a Co-produced Intervention Using the Silences Framework (IMPROVE-ACT)

The negative and disproportionate experience of BAC men detained under mental health legislation demonstrates the need for approaches that promote shared decision making and prevents systemic injustices. Our project uses innovative methods to co-produce a balanced understanding of the issues faced and culturally driven approaches to improve experiences and care.
