4035-18: Treatment Resistant Depression: Program Development for Ketamine Infusion
Treatment resistant depression and acute suicidality may be effectively treated with serial ketamine infusions. The development of a ketamine infusion clinic is discussed and the role of nursing in assessing patients and managing infusions and aftercare of patients is reviewed. Lessons learned in the start-up of the clinic are explored.
