This presentation reviews anticholinergic burden, its prevalence in schizophrenia spectrum disorder populations, and its negative impacts on cognitive ability and quality of life. Participants will gain the knowledge to identify anticholinergic side effects, understand their risks in individuals with schizophrenia spectrum disorders, and screen for them in everyday practice.
