This presentation highlights the use of group therapy for individuals suffering with chronic pain and depression. Highlighting hope and positive psychological traits encourages participants to have more positive emotional experiences. Psychiatric nurses are capable of providing group therapy, which helps these individuals develop protective factors against negativity from chronic pain.
