4031-17: Pharmacogenetics and MAT:  Facilitating Engagement for those with Co-Occurring Disorders

More than 65% of those with substance use disorders have a co-occurring mental health disorder. Pharmacogenetics testing guides the provider in prescribing for both disorders. The results are used to personalize care, educate the client and facilitate a clinical partnership that empowers the client and supports engagement in treatment.

Upon completion of this presentation, the participant will be able to:

  1. Define how the legal process can be therapeutic and non-therapeutic.
  2. Identify research regarding the variables affecting the physical and emotional impact of the legal process of getting divorced to include how dissolving a marriage yields organizational costs due to changes to employee health and productivity.
  3. Identify the signs of symptoms of emotional response and physical decompensation during the divorce process.
