People living with schizophrenia often have poor treatment adherence leading to poor treatment outcomes and associated healthcare costs. Long-acting injectable (LAI) antipsychotic medications are shown to improve treatment adherence. Our presentation will discuss the results of a study assessing healthcare utilization and treatment outcomes by comparing LAIs to orals.
