This presentation provides an overview of current and future Navy, Air Force, and Army mental health nursing practices; along with Veteran's Health Administration collaboration for enterprise-wide standardization of mental health nursing practices.

Upon completion of this presentation, the participant will be able to:

  1. Articulate challenges inherent in identifying and treating Service Members and need to standardize behavioral health practices.
  2. Review the initiatives to standardize behavioral health care across the services.
  3. Understand the evolution of behavioral health care in the Military Health System and the future goals for behavioral health nursing across the Military Health System.
