3043-18:  Psychiatric Nurses Unique Agents of Change: Using Research, Collaboration, Education and Innovation to Impact Communities

PMHNs collaborate with law enforcement and sexual assault nurse examiners to improve current practice, policy and provide education to address barriers to care. Come learn about synergistic technologies that decrease wait times, improve trauma-informed interviewing, mental health assessments, and access to care that increase sexual assault kit submission rates.
