3037-18:  Protecting the Nursing Workforce through an Aggression Prevention Team (APT) and Behavior Alert (BA) Response

This presentation introduces a successful process for aggression and violence prevention through the development and implementation of a safety response team. The Aggression Prevention/Behavior Alert process showcases the unique de-escalation skills of mental health professionals. Participants will leave with takeaways for use in their own settings.
