3035-22: Trauma Informed Care (TIC) from the Clinical Site to the Classroom: Using TIC Teaching and Learning Strategies in Nursing Education

This presentation will provide an overview of how trauma relates to nursing students and nursing school, review trauma informed teaching and learning strategies, and offer course development, syllabus verbiage, and specific course design practices to be more trauma informed in nursing education.
