3033-23: Updates to American Psychiatric Nurses Association Seclusion and Restraint Position Statement and Standards of Practice

The purpose of this presentation is to summarize the 2022 updates to the APNA Seclusion and Restraint Position Statement and Standards of Practice. These updates were guided by evidence-based information found in the review of literature and clinical expertise. These standards support providing care in an environment that is person-centered.
