This session looks at effective methods of facilitating learning about mental health in the current undergraduate nursing student. Emphasis is placed on sharing creative ideas for presenting content in a manner that engages students while addressing cognitive, behavioral, and effective learning needs.

Upon completion of this presentation, the participant will be able to:
1. Identify 3 obstacles for teaching and learning mental health content by the current undergraduate nursing student.
2. Discuss 3 basic mental health concepts that are the most challenging to teach and difficult for students to learn.
3. Select a strategy for improving student engagement to utilize within the participant's program.
