Patient-specific outcome measurement is achievable in routine clinic pediatric mental health care. Identifying variables direct clinical resources and refine care planning. Routine pediatric mental health care delivered under usual and naturalistic conditions is effective for pediatric populations.

Upon completion of this presentation, the participant will be able to:

  1. Identify the process of quantifying progress in treatment within an outpatient community child and adolescent clinic.
  2. Define and list the characteristics of responders and non-responders to outpatient treatment in a community clinic and the role of advanced practice nurses.
  3. Discuss future directions of outpatient psychiatric care with children and adolescents in a community clinic in outcome.
