2023-22: Impact of an Educational Program on Burnout among Nurses Working with Intellectually Disabled Persons
The results of the project will be useful in determining strategies for improving the nurse practice setting and to facilitate the use of self-care education by nurses to reduce burnout with consequent turnover. Suggested changes should encourage the reading of research, discussion of research, risk taking to implement new ideas, and mentoring.

- Describe how self-care education on burnout reduction among nurses is likely to decrease incidents of burnout among nurses working within developmental disability home health facilities.
