Attention will be paid to the parameters set forth by the regulatory bodies. These will include, surveillance of the immediate situation, evaluation of the patient’s reactions to the restraint or seclusion implementation, assessment of the medical and behavioral condition of the patient, and determining the need to continue or terminate the restraint or seclusion.
