2016-23: Improving Dignity when Managing Dementia with Behavioral Disturbance: Developing a Palliative Care Pathway for Patients on a Senior Psychiatric Unit

This presentation introduces an approach to improving outcomes for patients with dementia with behavioral disturbance on a senior psychiatric unit through interdisciplinary collaboration in developing a palliative care pathway. By addressing this need, patients experienced an improvement in behavioral management and a reduction in suffering.
