2012-22: Medical Emergency Response Training in an Inpatient Psychiatric Hospital Setting: Improving Staff Confidence and Patient Outcomes
This presentation includes an overview of the creation of customized medical emergency response training for staff in an inpatient psychiatric hospital. The training focuses on clinical decision-making and applying unfamiliar interventions in a high-stress simulation environment using low-fidelity equipment to increase staff confidence and improve patient outcomes.
