1302-21:  The Design of Outpatient Detoxification

This presentation introduces a pragmatic biopsychosocial model for outpatient detoxification. The interactive discussion will provide a step-by-step process of evidence-based detoxification, including the FDA-approved drugs and cutting-edge treatment for substance/alcohol treatment. The participants will leave with a comprehensive understanding of an algorithm for outpatient detoxification.
