1046-22: Fighting the Other Pandemic: A Health Systems Approach to Preventing Workplace Violence
This presentation will review Allegheny Health Network’s (AHN) journey in creating a workplace violence prevention program at its hospitals. In 2019, AHN formed a team to address the issue of violence, implementing reporting systems, training programs, and a crisis response team. AHN’s goal is promoting safety for employees and patients.
