1023-17: Academic Clinical Partnerships in Graduate Psychiatric Nursing Education

Data from three federally funded projects, one form the East, Midwest, and the Western US.  They will be used to demonstrate the principles and solutions to developing effective Academic Clinical partnerships for training programs.  Instruments and methods for data collection to demonstrate the outcomes will be discussed in each issue presented.

Upon completion of this presentation, the participant will be able to:

  1. Demonstrate an understanding of the strategies for developing academic clinical partnerships in the Midwest and Western U.S.
  2. Demonstrate an understanding of the issues associated with measuring integrated care competencies in integrated care settings.
  3. Demonstrate an understanding of developing Preceptor Models of training in integrated care training distance programs.

Continuing Nursing Education:
1.75 contact hours.  * In order to receive contact hours, you must: Listen to presentation, complete an evaluation, and earn a passing score on the post-test before the expiration date.
