SMART Recovery uses tools based on scientifically proven self-empowerment methods, including Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Motivational Interviewing, to assist people with addictive behaviors to: build and maintain motivation, cope with urges, manage thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and live a balanced life.
