4014-18: Integration of Psychiatric Care within ED and Inpatient Settings

The Emergency Psychiatric Assessment Team (EPAT) with a medical director, residents, nurse manager, and social workers, collaborates with network EDs to place patients in clinically focused programs: Therapeutic Milieu, High Acuity, Geriatric, Short Stay. Positive throughput outcomes include strategies to address initiatives to sustain process improvements including short ED stays.
