3054-19: Moral Distress Experienced by Mental Health Nursing Students and Faculty During Clinical Rotations

Nursing students and faculty experience moral distress when they are exposed to practices in the clinical setting that are inconsistent with their values, ethics or established standards of care. This presentation will examine contributing factors, manifestations and consequences of moral distress and explore strategies for preventing and addressing it.
