3044-19: Learning and Teaching Outcomes of an Undergraduate Simulation Assignment in Mental Health Nursing

This presentation describes the planning, implementation, and evaluation of a complex simulation assignment incorporated into a large enrollment (N=152) undergraduate course in mental health nursing. Student groups planned, performed, and presented a simulated home visit that required "in the moment" nursing actions in response to patient distress.
