3027-17: Creation and Implementation of a Crisis Stabilization Service in a Community Safety Net Hospital in Chicago, IL
Sinai Health Systems developed a Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) in response to escalating boarding times in the ED of patients with mental health (MH) issues, and a lack of community resources for MH care. This session explores the development, successes and challenges experiences throughout the process.
