3021-19:  Adolescent Pregnancy and Depression: An Opportunity and Obligation for Intervention

This presentation details appropriate assessment and treatment of major depressive disorder in pregnant and postpartum adolescents. As no treatment guidelines exist for this specific population, relevant guidelines for both psychosocial and pharmacological interventions are reviewed to determine best practices and boost clinicians' confidence in working with these under-served young women.
