Only three percent of published music therapy studies have come from studying the inpatient child & adolescent psychiatry population. Standardized Psychotropic Medication Education using Teach Back Methodology helps improve child and adolescent patient satisfaction on an inpatient psychiatric unit.  Presenters: Diane Oran MN, RN, PMHCNS/NP-BC; Quan Phan, BSN, RN-BC

2. 2. Describe gaps in literature and practice for this topic as well as some causes for these gaps.
3. Learn the benefits of using Teach Back methodology in providing patient education for children and adolescents.
4. Understand the components of utilizing standardized, easy-to-understand medication cards to improve patient satisfaction.
