2024-18: The Block System: A Recovery Oriented Approach for Managing Maladaptive Behaviors in the Adolescent Population

This presentation introduces a system for managing maladaptive behavior of the adolescent in a locked environment. This "Block System", developed by nurses and CNAs, utilizes a recovery oriented approach resulting in decreases in restrictive interventions and aggressive behaviors.
