1047-19: Group 101: A Toolkit of Theory and Skills for Novice Group Leaders 

This presentation identifies essential knowledge and demonstrates key skills necessary to successfully structure and facilitate small groups. A discussion of phases of group development, therapeutic group processes and leader strategies to facilitate effective group processes will be combined with a simulated group experience in which effective facilitation skills are modeled.
