This session will demonstrate the effective use of psychotherapy, regardless of fixed constraints of a practice setting. Using one clinical case scenario, we will demonstrate how to use concepts from three theoretical approaches in the delivery of care.

1. Explain the basics of CBT through emphasis on the problem solving aspects – PST.
2. Have some basic tools you can use to implement CBT or PST with your patients.
3. Observe CBT-PST in action.
4. Apply CBT or PST in practice.
5. Discuss implementation of this technique and how it would work in your practice.
