1032-17: Lessons Learned From Quality Improvement Project Aimed to Decrease the Fall Rate in the Inpatient Psychiatric Unit

A high rate of inpatient psychiatric unit falls led to the development of a multifaceted intervention project. This presentation will share strategies that decreased adult inpatient psychiatric unit rate of falls and falls with injury. Fall rate was reduced by 53%, fall rate with injury maintained at 0%.
